Paul Hose

A Licentiate of both RSL Awards and Trinity College London, Paul Hose is now a Music Examiner – a role that sees him assess the progress of musicians of all ages and abilities throughout the world – Paul has also become an Arts Award Assessor for Trinity College London, supporting and assessing young people through Bronze, Silver and Gold Arts Award courses.

Hose is also a Fellow at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a proud endorsee of Sabian cymbals, Natal drums, Promark sticks, Evans drumheads and Protection Racket cases.

He has studied with a host of teachers in Nottingham and London and notably with internationally renowned teachers Dom Famularo and the legendary Jim Chapin – with whom he studied for 6 years – and, in 2010, had the privilege to perform and speak at Jim Chapin’s memorial at the Paramount Theatre in New York.

Performing live has included television, arena concerts, festivals, touring theatre shows and much more. He has worked with a host of artists from across the musical spectrum including Country star, Sarah Jory, The English National Ballet, Grammy award winning Tom Chapin, his brother and producer, Steve Chapin and guitar virtuoso, Lee Wrathe. 

He also toured extensively with To be Frank a tribute to Sinatra and the Rat Pack under the musical direction of Matt Stacey. Paul has performed at numerous clinics and festivals with the likes of Jojo Mayer, Dom Famularo and Ray Luzier and continues to perform regularly throughout Europe.
